Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs the use of the Wippy platform, services, and related technologies ("Wippy" or "Services") provided by Spiral Scout LLC. By accessing the open source Wippy Runtime or using Wippy.ai, you agree to comply with this AUP, which is designed to ensure the security, reliability, and proper use of the Services.

Violations of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of access to Wippy, additional fees, or legal action.

You may not use Wippy, or allow others to use Wippy, to:

2.1. Illegal, Harmful, or Fraudulent Activities

• Engage in any unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent activities, including but not limited to money laundering, phishing, or identity theft.
• Violate any applicable laws, including data privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, or other industry-specific compliance requirements.
• Facilitate or engage in spamming, unauthorized advertising, or mass messaging without explicit permission.

2.2. Abuse of AI-Generated Content

• Use Wippy to generate content that is fraudulent, defamatory, discriminatory, offensive, violent, or misleading.
• Rely on AI-generated outputs without human review for critical decision-making, including but not limited to legal, financial, or medical applications.
• Hold Spiral Scout or Wippy liable for errors, hallucinations, or inaccuracies in AI-generated content.

2.3. Security Violations

• Attempt to hack, disrupt, bypass, or interfere with Wippy's infrastructure, security mechanisms, authentication systems, or any third-party integrations.
• Introduce malware, automated bots, API scrapers, or other forms of malicious software.
• Engage in denial-of-service (DoS) attacks or unauthorized access to Wippy, its users, or affiliated systems.

2.4. Misuse of API & System Resources

• Use APIs, integrations, or automation features in a way that causes excessive load or disrupts normal platform operations.
• Resell or redistribute Wippy’s APIs or platform access without explicit written approval from Spiral Scout.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy Wippy’s proprietary models, tools, or frameworks.

2.5.  Use in Automated Deployment Platforms or Cloud Hosting Services

• You may use the Licensed Work in production for any purpose, including deploying workflows generated by Wippy to production environments using provided files for commercial use. However, you may not provide automated deployment platforms or cloud hosting services that enable third parties to automatically deploy, host, or manage instances of the Licensed Work (similar to services like Vercel for automated deployments). This restriction does not apply to internal use, personal projects, non-commercial hosting, or manual deployments of generated workflows.

• Customer Data Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all data uploaded, stored, or processed within Wippy.
• Personal & Sensitive Data: If using Wippy to process sensitive data, you must ensure adequate encryption, anonymization, or protection measures in compliance with applicable laws.
• AI & Compliance: If using Wippy for regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance), you must verify that AI-generated outputs comply with industry regulations and have the appropriate disclaimers.

• If you are interested in Reselling or White-Labeling Wippy-powered AI features, please reach out to support@wippy.ai for how licensing works.
• If Wippy detects unauthorized resale, sublicensing, or redistribution, your account may be terminated immediately, and additional licensing fees may apply.

Wippy reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including but not limited to:

• Issuing warnings or requesting corrective actions.
• Suspending or terminating accounts involved in AUP violations.
• Charging additional fees for excessive API usage, unauthorized integrations, or abuse of system resources.
• Pursuing legal action where necessary.

Wippy reserves the right to update this AUP at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or posted on our website.
Continued use of Wippy after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
